Switch the DDS3 on using the switch which is positioned next to the probe, place the probe on the viewer and using the
thumbwheel set for 0.00 on the LCD display.

Place your film on the viewer and place the DDS3 probe on to the film where the reading is required and the LCD will now
display the density of the film.

Some viewers may not have a uniform light output across the viewing window therefore it may be necessary to check and zero
the DDS3 to the viewer again.

Turn the DDS3 off after use to conserve the battery.
Low battery is indicated by a small battery Icon appearing on the LCD display.

A Re-Calibration Service is available for this instrument

This unit may read out of tolerence when used on a Quartz Halogen Viewer and cannot be adjusted by the user
